Bangkok Guest Friendly Hotels

So you booked your flight to Bangkok but you haven’t booked a hotel yet, right? Well, hold your horses because if you haven’t then there is something you need to know. First of all let’s get something out of the way first. This article is for single guys looking to “score” in Bangkok. Whether you want a bar-girl, ladyboy, freelancer or girl you pick up in a club, if you want to bring her back to your hotel room there’s a few things you need to know.

Booking Your Hotel in Bangkok

When you book your hotel, if you plan on bringing back a guest to your room, you better make sure your hotel is guest friendly. If it is not, then you are going to have to pay joiner fees which are typically fees that cover the cost of an additional person in the room. Some of these fees are rip-offs and are really imposed to just rid the hotels of these girls that come back to guest rooms.

In some cases these Thai girls that work the bars get refused by hotel staff, especially if the hotel is a family friendly hotel.

So what you need to understand is how the hotels work, especially in the red light district areas of Bangkok such as Patpong, Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. Meeting a girl in one of these places that will tickle your funny bone is quite easy and she’s going to want to come back to your hotel room. So you better make sure your hotel has a no fee for guests policy.

How to Find a Guest Friendly Hotel In Bangkok

You could either call or email the hotels in the area that you want to stay to see if they charge joiner fees for a guest or not. Or you could just visit  and select a hotel from their updated list. This is probably the best way because you have a good selection of hotels to choose from and can be guaranteed they will all be guest friendly.

Prices For Girl Friendly Bangkok Hotels

The prices are typical of any hotel, where you have your 2 star and all the way up to 4.5 stars. The star rating does not determine whether or not the hotel is guest friendly or not so you can either select a cheaper hotel or guest house if you are on a budget or go all the way with a more expensive one. Checking from the list on the website mentioned you can see how the prices vary as well.

How Hotels In Bangkok Protect Their Guests

If you bring a girl back to your room, sometimes the reception will ask for your Thai girl’s ID card. This is to protect you believe it or not. This is because there have been situations where some girls ended up stealing and upon her picking up her ID card they will call your room just to make sure that everything is ok.

When You Book

You should also make sure that when you book your hotel that you choose the option for a 2 person booking. The prices are usually the same as a single booking but here you will have less a chance of having a problem because of the dual occupancy. It’s just common sense.

The last thing you want is to be dinged with a larger bill than expected when booking a hotel in Bangkok. With a little bit of research into getting the right place to stay,  you should have no problem in finding a guest friendly hotel.
